Award recognises worldwide innovation using Microsoft technologies
Ionix Service Manager today announced it has been recognized by Microsoft Corporation as one of five worldwide finalists in the fourth annual Microsoft Certified Partner Awards in the CRM Solution of the Year category representing the Asia Pacific Region. Nearly 800 entries were considered for this award in twelve different categories.
This award recognizes Ionix Service Manager's innovation in developing VMWare Service Manager-a full web problem, change and Configuration Management application for the enterprise customer support market. Built entirely on an Internet architecture using Microsoft ActiveX and XML Web Services technology, VMWare Service Manager has been developed to take full advantage of the web access and integration possibilities opened up by the Microsoft .NET platform, said Martin Curtis, Business Development Manager for Ionix Service Manager.
"VMWare Service Manager puts us in a unique position to deliver a fully configurable, extensible support system that can rapidly adapt to a corporation's changing business requirements" said Curtis. "Ionix Service Manager's strategy is to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership solution in the market. Ease of deployment, and ease of B2B integration are key components in this strategy".
He added that Ionix Service Manager was seeing a strong uptake of the application in the international and Australian markets.
Ionix Service Manager will be among the award finalists honored at Microsoft's Fusion 2001 partner event in Anaheim, CA July 13-16. The worldwide winner in each of the twelve award categories will be announced July 15th during an Opening Keynote Session by Ian Rogoff, Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft.
"It was an honor for us to receive so many amazing business applications of our products" said Rogoff, "but Ionix Service Manager clearly stood out among the many high-quality entries we received."
